What the New Neighborhood Newsletter is all about?
The old neighborhood in Slovenia
When our parents or grandparents immigrated to the United States from Slovenia, leaving old neighborhoods in the "motherland"
for a new "Neighborhood", along with their meager belongings, they brought:
1. Heritage
2. Customs
3. Language
4. Family Story,History
5. Food, Music, Wine
6. Happy, Sad Memories
7. Arts, Crafts
8. Traditions.... and hope.. To the New Neighborhood
Mission:
To create a monthly Newsletter for American-Slovenians that provides information related to their heritage.
Purpose:
To keep our Slovenian memories, customs, traditions, and heritage a high priority in life.
Goal:
That all American-Slovenians choose to preserve and promote their Slovenian heritage.
